I'm barely going to be sleeping for the next three days, so no, I'm not angry.  Mostly apprehensive.

I have work I have to do.  I've been extremely frustrated for the past month and a half because I never get my work started early, so I have a never-ending fountain of generally lacking time and grades that are lower than I'd like.  Now I've gotten so frustrated that I'm going to be double time over the next three days, because I just can't stand this anymore.

I see the years of procrastination have also been focusing down to a nexus of self-spite and regrets for others as well.

Hopefully on the other side of the climax will be a mirror world where all work is done immediately and everyone is happy.

Yeah.  I haven't been a bad procrastinator since I was in elementary school, but what I really want is to do pretty much all my work Monday through Wednesday, and have the rest of the week to study more interesting things.

His legal duty to take care of his own child, for all practical intents and purposes, doesn't apply due to her being gay
What, seriously? There are laws like that and he gets away because she's gay? What the fuck?

Secondly, there's a difference between causing it, and furthering it. There are atheist homophobes.

How many arguments against Homosexuality have you heard from either an Atheist or Atheistic viewpoint?

Several. Most of them have to do with "biological imperative" yadda yadda yadda

Or "it's gross", which is slightly better because it doesn't attempt to shoehorn science into their beliefs.

Also AIDS, because it's *impossible* to protect yourself against and you automatically get it if a gay guy as much as breathes in your general direction, or briefly touches your skin with his hand.

And yeah, in my experience, it's always only been gay guys, too. Lesbians apparently can't catch AIDS in whatever universe these people has their head stuck in. I wonder why. ::)

Also the symbol-form of the ::) looks nothing like somebody rolling their eyes. It's just a happy alien. Possibly happy spider.

On Yahoo messenger if you add an = to the ::) it becomes a caterpillar [ =:: )]

At least I think so. I should go try that out.

I think they mostly worry about AIDS because they have no idea what it is. Bigotry is usually the province of the ignorant.

This makes intelligent, collected bigots some fo the most frightening things I've ever encountered.

From what I understand, AIDS is most commonly transmitted through anal sex, which would explain why lesbians 'apparently can't catch' it.

It's most commonly transmitted through semen, actually, not necessarily through anal sex. A male gay couple and a straight couple with an infected male partner are both more likely to infect the other partner than a female gay couple.

That and blood/infected syringes. You can also transmit it by bleeding all over people with open sores or wounds.

Or at least that's what I remember from Environmental Science two years ago.

Yeah, the reason "lesbians can't catch it" I was eluding to was that these people I have encountered views lesbianity as sexy, but male-gayness (seriously why can't you just make up a word like "lesbian" already? It's so much easier in Swedish) as icky. Because of male-homophobia.

Ah, but apparently (from reading through a book by a medical doctor on the topic among other things, specifically criticising the stupidity of the 'common sense' belief about it), the anus has white blood cells that secure pathogens that enter into that region and take it to lymph nodes (forgive me if I get this wrong, as I most certainly am not a medical doctor and recalling this entirely from memory) to 'analyse' it and create antibodies for it. However, when the AIDS virus gets to that, it is able to easily infect it and spread to the other parts of the body.
