Cream would just be silly, it's already whole milk, and I doubt a higher fat content would help~

Fill the bathtub with marshmallow fluff and chocolate sauce?

I like this idea~~

Well, I concede defeat. In fact, forget the animal crackers!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

On the way to school a dog ran from a nearby yard into the busy main street I live near. I immediately froze in horror and could not take my eyes away from what I know was going to happen. But the cars slowed down and I was able to coax the dog out of the road to dump him into the heard he came from. Nobody was home and I wasn't sure if the dog came from their yard or not, but at least when somebody gets home they'll find a safe dog to return.

Withdrew from case, because client is stupid, thinks he can tell me to do illegal things, and was way more trouble than it was worth. TV isn't real life. The courts move slowly, you can't tell the judge to hurry up, and I'll call you right after they tell me anything. I can't and won't take a criminal fee "only if you win," cause that's illegal, unethical, and also stupid.

I showed him this:

Naturally, he's not listening expressly ignoring me like a moron who wants to go to prison. Seriously, cram down the bullshit before they cram you in a cell.... I'm going to get an ulcer doing this.... Looking for new job.

Why on earth for? That's the area where it makes the most sense to do contingency. At least traditionally it certainly was, though it's more complicated than a single sentence. That's often the only way many people have the slightest chance of being able to sue if they are injured....

Because the system has become so incredibly corrupt.

Looks like we're going to have to rebudget again.

Because the system has become so incredibly corrupt.

Granted, but cutting off the only access to the courts for injured people isn't gonna help that.

Also, sick of being used:
I did a basically free favor for a friend. Now she's pulling the standard "what have you done for me lately" BS. The minute the JE came down in her favor, she disappeared. [sigh]. From now on I'm not doing shit. She can find out just how much other attorneys charge for that crap. Yeah I billed a few hundred, but it was all court costs with attached copies of receipts (everyone pays that no matter what). All I wanted was not to go into the hole for her stuff by being reimbursed for what I paid the court on her behalf. Also gas mileage cause I had to drive out there.... Shit, I basically made a house call, who does that anymore.... I'm making nothing at all off this and I won, but her family still considers me a "crooked lawyer." [headdesk]

*sigh*

Taking a day off because I'm too tired to work.  I didn't even think through reasons, weights, etc.; I just went "Okay, that's it, time to take a day off."

I don't want to D:  I wanna work.  But my brain is all "fuck off and go sit back down" and I'm all "okay fine."

Were you not sick? Even if you worked while sick, ESPECIALLY if you worked while sick, your body and mind need time to recover, even if you take that time when you "well".

Yeah, I've been working my ass off for the past month, despite some sickness, and before that I had a year of near-constant work.  All the same, though, I am a greedy little girl and want even more energy to do things with :I

Wuaaaaagh D:

Well, at least I can sit here and enjoy this when I'm too tired.  That's a good thing.
