Thank you.

Don't worry too much.  I'm okay.

Romance. Bluh.

Parents (and probably a few other people who are doing it more subtly) are bugging me to get a girlfriend. But I am a shy little nerd, so every time I meet a girl I like, I try to get to know her first. Which usually leads to <> instead of <3 until our class paths diverge and I never see her again. Or she ends up being too old for me. And the parental pressure is... unsettling, since I'm used to doing what my parents ask but in this situation I just... can't.

I'm finding myself feeling incredibly apathetic. Just... Right now I feel like absolutely nothing matters.

Nothing at all. Nothing nothing. Really I think being depressed would be more pleasant than this, at least I'd feel something other than empty.

Isn't apathy included under depression?

Well I more mean I wish I at least FELT something. It's so strange just having this big empty nothing pretending to represent something.

I'm going on a journey.  I don't know when I'll be back.

Well, wherever and however you're going, go consciously and safely. Good luck finding your center.

The whole world could live as good as we do in Denmark if the whole world was more socialistic and less liberal/conservative.

Politics aside, I know that with what we have now, we could do more for those less fortunate. I hope that some day we will. It's tough to see the route from the petty individualistic way many live now to there, but maybe we can find it together, given time. One can hope.

Thank you =)

I already had the tough conversation with my mom, so that's a relief.  This is so much easier than the last few times I tried to do it and wasn't ready.

We'll see if I'm ready this time, but for now I'm cautiously optimistic.

Shoot me a PM when your internet restabilizes, would you?  I'd still like to talk to you once in a while =)

I want to do another let's play, but my internet has slowed down to the point where uploading images is out of the question. Nooooo... :(

[EDIT] Internet was slow because of all the tabs that were active. I closed most of them. My internet is now at a good speed!

I've sort of been thinking of breaking up with my girlfriend.
It isn't that things aren't working out or anything, I like her and all, but she just feels more like a close friend now than a girlfriend. We went on a picnic today, and it was nice, and we both had fun, but it didn't have the same rush as when we first started dating. I've just gotten to know her too well, and know that things will just become mundane over time.
She is a sweet girl, and I don't want to break her heart, but I don't want to be dishonest and continue going out with her if I'm not really that in it, especially as she has been so tolerant and supportive lately. She deserves a guy who can reflect her feelings, and as much as I want a close friendship, it just isn't me.
I don't know what to do. Dating is hard.

Be that guy for her.

One of the only regrets in my life are the times when I pursued a lover rather than the girl who was in love with me and that I loved... but I didn't realise what I had until she no longer stood with me.

I do want to see her happy, but I don't know if I can do that forever. I don't want to ride things out until everything falls apart in arguments.

I'd give you relationship advice but I don't feel love =(

I'm totally good for giving you a BS assumptions though, so hear me out a bit.
It sounds like you're mixing up excitement with love. You can long for both, but excitement needs regular dosages of adrenaline. If you fear that if your relationship becomes mundane grr will stop loving you, then grr might not have really been in love with you to begin with.
Still, the only way to figure that out for sure is to ride this thing out like a man. Sure, this may end in a bitter breakup, but if you don't gamble you'll never get your jackpot.
