You are so fucking adorable >_<

This made me pissed off. Why would someone want to send a death threat to Vector?

Because the moniker of "yaoi fangirl" might be applied to me, I being tolerant/somewhat fond of yaoi/slash pairings and leanings, and simultaneously female.

To be fair, it was a declaration of a general desire for genocide, followed by a clarification for a genuine desire for death, which I think the person in question thought out poorly.  So it wasn't "I wanna kill ya, Vector!" it was "I wanna kill everyone in this group you happen to belong to!  Oh, hi Vector, didn't see you there."

But it's a very lame, horrendously context reliant direct translation of a word that, in this particular situation, becomes a pun, but only to people who already know the word in the first place!~ D:
A real pun would be its homophonous 婦女子!~ D:

Believe me, she's not who she appears to be, that's just her way to lure innocent virgins into her lair and then torture them. Let me out of this cage while she's not looking. D :

That is insane. I get 1.1 mb/s download at the very very best of times, and those never come around often.

That is actually godawful, what the hell is wrong with my computer? I can't pick up the wireless anymore. It used to be at least Blarg's speed.

e: why the fuck did it choose Adelaide.

Something is wrong here.

I feel sorry for Jackrabbit. My internet was once slower than that (0.50 MB/S) and it really, really sucked. I couldn't watch Youtube or download any shit.

Used to be a hell of a lot worse before we moved the router.

In sad news, got two 504 errors trying to get to the post page.

If it helps, downloading locally achieves a speed of 1.6 mb/s so that's... managable, I guess.

We actually have 12 mb/s capacity, just my computer doesn't pick up the router upstairs very well anymore for some reason.

That's my Ohio speed[cable internet]; tomorrow I'll check my RIT speed (much higher).
Also keep in mind these are Mb/s (megabits) rather than MB/s (megabytes). In cases of file downloads, the size is almost always listed in bytes, which are each 8 bits. 20Mb/s translates to about 7 minutes per gigabyte of data, assuming the source can keep up. Though in reality, mine seems to be slower than that, as it actually has something like 30Mb/s burst for the first 5 seconds or so, dropping to a sustained 15Mb/s afterwards.
