What annoys me more than that are those thumbs-up whores with dumb one liners, obvious statements about the video or some random philosophical crap, like, what the fuck people?!

Anyways, i had a rather terrible nightmare (it happened in the morning actually), luckily i think i woke up before it ended.

This.

Words cannot describe how sad I am due to seeing "DIS SONG IS THE BEST! THUMB ME UP!" or "X happened to X people"

Not as bad as music videos with comments like "anyone who takes this seriously is a moron." Or blatant misinterpretations of the video deliberately designed to be as anti-American as possible. Really, reading Youtube or Failblog comments is dangerous to your sanity.

Ugh YouTube comments. One of my few videos on there has got a load of people claiming I, more or less, faked it. One guy got fed up with it and posted a reply video proving otherwise. The stupid thing is that anyone could recreate what I did and see for themselves it's not faked. I must admit that it never really upset me but I was annoyed that that kind of thing found it's way to one of my videos.

Look, don't even get me started.

If you search "The Killing Fields" on google or youtube, the 2nd video hit is mine- That I made on project studying the Cambodian genocide, while standing on top of and around countless corpses still being exposed with rags belonging to the victims from the rain.

So I get to read every goddamn idiots' thoughts on one of the worst genocides in mankind's history, and Khmer Rouge communism, which was about as "communist" as the Nazis were "socialists".

I was actually || that close to blocking all comments - and doing to certain people what got me deported from Myanmar.

It's just a huge, fucking darkly-comedic tragedy, the human experience.

You have me beat Kael. Some of the comments are fine from what I can tell but others much less so.

My Dad is/was a professional miniature artist who won most of his awards for his work based on the Vietnam war. For this reason I've been brought up with talk, books, and photos about/of Southeast Asia from mostly just before until just after said war. What with the war straying over the boarder and the overlap in time I've heard, read, and seen many terrible things about the Khmer Rouge. He wants to make a diorama based on a photo taken in one of The Killing Fields and while he wants to commemorate rather than offend the subject matter has made him shy away for now.

having wrote all that I realise you might take this badly. I don't mean to add another idiots' thought on the subject or to offend you otherwise.

I think he was referring to people that explain it away as being necessary for the advancement of World Socialism, or those that insist that the whole thing is America's fault and nobody else's, or those that deny it ever happened, or similar theories.

If he bans them he can't educate them to not be so stupid about these things.

You can't force intelligence on others either, never worked in the past.

A. Yes you can. Make a message prevalent and memetic enough, and people will start to believe it. You just have to be sure it's true first, otherwise you'll hurt society instead of helping it. (Obviously Kael's message is true, that's just for memetic messages in general.)

B. Even if you can't, there isn't even a chance that they'll learn if you don't try to teach them. Your plan of doing nothing is equivalent to "Detroit has an extreme crime problem, begin the firebombing run!".

KF is really, really, really not a solo game. While it's also pretty bad with randos, sometimes one good person can salvage the team and get them to semi work together.

So - I am apparently stuck in what is honestly the strangest psuedo relationship I have ever heard of, and I have known a lot of strange relationships. If it weren't for the fact that she keeps coming back to say that I am the only one that has ever understood her, I'd be long gone by now.

I think I need to reflect a bit more on the right choice, and then make it for the both of us. I want her to be able to stand strong without me at some point- surely there is a way to help her without those crazy emotions, various mishaps, and romantic misadventures. I see myself falling into this subconscious trap again and again with her.

I will continue to make myself stronger until I can truly support my loved ones with the love they deserve.

... I don't have time for this...

...but you know what? It's nice to have what feels like "normal" people problems for once, instead of struggling with the effects of globalisation upon human tribal nature and gross power inequalities and human ignorance to suffering we cause ourselves and others.

Word of advice from personal experience... Crazy people are crazy. Loving one can be a hell of a ride, but in the end it will break you.
If you break it off, she will most likely find another person to use and the next guy/girl will be the one who is the only one who ever understood her.

Now, I know I don't have enough knowledge of your situation to make a good judgment, so take it with a grain of salt, but it sounds very very familiar to me.

I was at ACE today (I failed my second semester English 9... it was my teachers fault! Honest!). Being in a class full of rich snobby kids (ACE cost $$$ to go to so you don't go to summer school, I coughed up money so I could go to marching band), they saw that I had books and like to read them for fun. After class they decided to "have a little fun" with me. They tried to beat the crap out of me and take my books and burn them. The burning of my books is fine cause I have about 3 copies of those books, but beating me up isn't, seeing as how I can't deal with all the physical pain caused by my own movement during marching band conditioning. At first they pushed me down (5 of them vs 1 of me) and took my books and made a small bonfire and forced me to watch them start going up in flames. Then they started to pummel me. I got free briefly and crawled over to and picked up my English textbook (The only one that I didn't have a copy of, heh) and while it was still on fire slammed it into someones head. I guess they saw me wielding a flaming textbook and saw their friend with a heavily bleeding nose and his hair scorched and ran (it isn't as epic as you are probably picturing it).

The worst part? I dropped the book and helped the guy that I hit get up, and helped him get to the school (he was bawling) so the nurse could check him out. The 4 other guys had come back and said that I had started the whole thing and burned my books and was crazy. On account of the fact that I gave the guy a really bad nose bleed and burned some of his hair off his head, they threw me out of ACE and I am suspended for my first week of actual school. I also have to pay for my $80 text book. I found out that the actual reason they suspended me was that I came back. They didn't believe the other people until I showed up helping this guy out. I narrowly avoided getting kicked out of marching band though, which is good I guess. The band is a school function but run by the group of parents, so the school can't kick me out of it. Good thing my parents are in the group that runs the band and they believed me. Don't you just love the educational system we have?

The American Scholl System: Teaching kids not to fight back against bullies and also when you do don't try to help them get up because then you will get into trouble.

I'm sorry, who exactly runs the education system, some crackhead in 3-D glasses? George Bush?
