It has come to my attention that for the last three weeks, I have basically done nothing but attend German class and putz around on B12.

Since it takes 21 days to develop a new habit, I figure I'll also be gone for about three weeks to get my life in gear.  I also have to think about a lot of things.  So... I'll see everyone soon, I guess.  I'm not saying that I'll be completely gone, as I have Mafia games that I'm in the middle of and an enormous number of PMs to respond to (which I will absolutely take care of, because some of them are from as far back as April =/), but I don't think I'll be posting here.

Why do you get so many PMs? The only times I ever get a notification is when Toady mutes me (I make that sound like it happens often, but it's been eight months since the last time) or when somebody is replying to a PM that I sent.

I feel bad for smiling while reading this, for some reason.

And I think I have a cold or allergies or some crap because my nose has been running all over the place and my eyes are watery and I'm tired and blarg. If it's allergies, I'm going to be even more sad, because I'm only known to be mildly allergic to a certain sunscreen chemical, and don't want to have a list of more crap I can't or shouldn't do because my body decided it was a bad idea.

Depends on where, but if it's on forum or other webs, take note that you've only somewhat recently separated alias', so it's natural. Just give more input through forum (or social mediums you partake in) and you'll begin to appear as unique.
If it's outside the internets however, then I have no idea how to help you there.

Every day, on my way to work, I drive past a person on the side of the highway, in a gorilla suit, holding a sign for a barber shop. Oppressive heat, torrential rain, he or she is out there, waving that sign, wearing that gorilla suit. For haircuts. This person probably makes less money than I do.

That's because around here at least for the most part you are. Just give it time though.

And know if you don't care about a social group she is in then it is okay to only be known though her.
