Off current topic, sorry.

Went off to look at house.  Half an hour-45 minutes each way, partially on bus, partially walking.

On the base of the apartment building, there was an official sign saying it was unsafe to be in it or around it during earthquakes, due to design decisions.  Berkeley is due for a really, really big earthquake soonish.

Turned around and went home.

An apartment.  However, 1 bathroom + 4 women also sounds like a really bad idea.

Thats kinda.. Unsafe, and really, any building should be as best designed as it can be in terms of protection against dangers.

1 bathroom + 4 people in general is a bad idea. That being said, having more bathroom stuff generally makes it worse.

Also, how expensive are apartments in Berkeley? If you have 4 people, you should be able to afford something pretty nice.

They're pretty darned expensive.  I'm trying to get something around $500, which is almost impossible to do if you want to be anywhere near campus.

I'm not moving in with friends, actually, I'm trying to find an already established household to move into.

Summer has started, i have all the free time i could ever wish for (and while the weather could be better it's not as bad as it could be) and no idea what to do with it.Gotten myself into a big damn slump with no idea, no purpose or ambition.

I would like to do stuff but it seems that i can't force myself to do anything but sit around the PC the whole day, like i'm waiting for some big change to knock me in the right direction, but i feel it isn't coming anytime soon :/

I got this sudden feeling of my whole chest hollowing out in sadness.
I wish not to explain why. Please don't mind me.

Apparently searching for housing needs to be added to the list of incredibly stressful things.

I'm going to light the whole of the German language on fire.

This remains the least entertaining thing I've done in my entire life.
