Rain and a combination of downbeat music and a painful foot.

My big toe seems to be getting infected. On both feet. Normally, I'd pick at it with a knife, but I can't find my multitool with a suitable blade.

Horrifying. I'm so glad I got my wisdom's removed. Tooth pain is the worst.

I have a molar that has been broken for a while, it has started to hurt, a lot. I've been trying to put it off till my insurance kicked in, but I may not be able to do so any more.

Depends on your jaw structure, actually. When my wisdom teeth came in and I had to take them out, things ended up like in a stupid cartoon, with me pulling back into the chair, and the dentist yanking on my teeth with all his strength. Almost ended up snapping off the armrests on the chair.

So if you have a jaw like a Russian thug, it might not be the best idea. It'll just splinter near the root, and then it'll be hell to pull out.

Got a shower. Poked myself in the eye with the washcloth. A remarkable example of hand/eye coordination. 0_-

*golf clap* Well done!

Heh... I was clipping my fingernails lastnight and a small shard of nail launched itself into my eye.  I was actually terrified because I kept trying to blink it out and it wouldn't move.  For probably 30 seconds, I thought it was actually lodged in and I was going to suffer eye damage.

I feel really fucking shitty about myself right now. I really fucking hate how fragile my self-esteem is. I'm perfectly fine in isolation, I feel good about myself and have no doubts on my self-worth. When I'm around my friends though, sometimes I just make an ass of myself for no fucking reason. I say really fucking stupid shit impulsively without thinking and I look and feel like a fucking idiot.

IT's really fucking agonizing sometimes, cause I can be trying to tell them something I'm honestly interested in, but I don't know how to say it, and so in an attempt to catch their attention I just say stupid shit. And then they don't even want to listen period.

Now I remember why I'm so antisocial towards people that aren't already in my group of friends.

Welp, my anxieties were confirmed: I didn't pass the end-of-training quality audit for the new job, and am once again quite entirely unemployed. Judging by my ranking (most accurate, and 3rd fastest among my training peers) it wasn't because of a lack of speed or quality, but the result of some bollocks fiscal policy on the part of my Temporary Employment agency, and what I'm going to call bad luck (since "sabotage" suggests it was intentional, and I'd prefer not to think about what that implies). I wasn't the only one either; the other college student in my team and outright best among us was also sent packing, and there may have been one more after us. That's 2 or 3 out of 7 of their new hires. Yep.

On a related note, I recently learned that the agency I was contracting through earned a sizable "Finder's Fee" just for hiring a new worker on. I don't know who came up with the idea, but it's fantastic for the agency; not only can they deal with a high turnover rate with a huge pool of applicants, but they actually benefit from quickly firing a percentage of their new hires, and opening more applications. I noticed they had been constantly hiring for months on end, but never thought much of it until now. Might go some ways toward explaining some of my area's unemployment problems too.

Anyway, I spent the rest of my afternoon firing off more apps. I'm hoping the library opens up a slot soon, because I've been wanting to work there for a while. We shall see.

This week's DnD session was a cesspit, as usual. Don't know why I waste my time on it anymore, there are about 3-4 players who give a shit, and 3 whi I can't get rid of. At least two of them try and take an interest, but one of them obviously thinks the game stops at rolling dice, and he doesn't even do that properly. He always breaks my rules about how much you're allowed to drink, and about bringing distractions to the table. Can't get rid of him because he has all the festival tickets and things, so I'll have to put up with another few months of him ruining my friday evenings.

Dumb ass freshman was sprinting down the halls and bumped me while I was by the stairs. I did not fall down them, no. I fell on my ass right next to them, and then rolled down, evenly distributing pain through my body, dirtying my clothes, and trashing my glasses. My back feels like I've been drop-kicked into a brick wall, I have to rely on my reading glasses, and work will suck until my back feels better.
