Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Just found out that adventurer mode actually no longer has the sites of anything other than humans. This takes out most of the point of that mode for me.

I think I mangled a conversation with my second client today, and I think that is likely why I have not received the email I am expecting from her.

I suppose should have expected to be exceedling poor at this business in my first attempt, and it is all the more to be expected since I have never been in any kind of business in any capacity, but it does not make being incompetent the less uncomfortable and embarassing.

Aw man, that's horrible.. I know how you feel, I start to worry every time mine won't show up (early) in the evening. I'm very sorry for you, and I very much hope s/he returns. Sometimes they do, even when it seem all hope for it is lost. My first cat was gone 2-3 months (though she was an adult) before she returned once, and last year I read about one little bastard who ran away from his owner at the vets' in town, and then travelled 20 km on his own to get back home.. So everythings not lost, yet. :(

My cat was hit in the face by a truck once and his left eye was kinda facing his brains. He walked away to die in an unknown place in the house.
At least, that's what we thought. After a few days he came to drink and aat a bit and doing this for three weeks he's perfectly fine :)
(except for the unknown substance that tends to come out of his eye every now and than...)

Unless your cat returned with his eye properly oriented within his skull, you have some twisted ideas about what constitutes perfectly fine.

A cat is always perfectly fine and in control of its environment, no matter what state its body is in.

The eye slowly turned around, although don't I think he can see with that eye anymore.
But for a cat that was hit by a truck, I'd say was incredibly lucky ^^

Get your cat to a vet, so you can be certain he is fine. That mysterious substance could be puss from an infection. That infection can kill him if left untended. It could even be cranial fluid leaking out from your cats broken skull.
