Saw an Internet ad that led me to another ultrageek T-shirt store, 604 Republic, selling shit like this, this, and this.  It's not all Star Wars stuff, those were just the "related products" scroll.  It puts a pit in my stomach to think that even one person would ever wear that shit, let alone that there's a market enough for a company can survive (such as it is).  There's nothing clever, no message, just fucking nerdy for the sake of fucking nerdy.

It's kind of a pop culture thing for nerds, Aq. You know, amongst other nerds, you might seem cool. But yeah, not even I'd buy those, which is saying something.

 Got in another accident today.

We were exiting a parking lot and the light wouldn't change for like ten minutes, judging from how many songs passed on the radio. Today was a really hot day and a bit of a line of irritable drivers was forming. Eventually the guys in the rightmost lane that was turn left only lane decided to move out. Traffic on the main street thinned and and we moved out. When my dad moved out he decided to make a U turn because there were no cars anywhere. A car behind us sped up and collided with our rear as he was turning.

This wouldn't have been much of a problem if not for the other person insisting that my dad admits guilt and signs something saying so, so we had to wait for a police car to come and sort out insurance info. It took an hour for one to come around. In the heat of the parking lot nearby. Blerrrg.

No, it's not.  It's in the Southern Pacific.  I think I would know.

The Watchmen/Empire one is definitely something I could see "hipsters" wearing, though. It's geeky in the cool kind of way.

One good thing about This Troper is that now we know why Jesus didn't come back on the 21st.

I can't stop thinking about it in terms of tropes. I've been infected, they're in my head.
