Dad's birthday.

Should be great and it was- but having come back from almost a year away, it's mainly noticing how old and frail my parents are getting.

every teacher at my school has decided to coordinate all the assignments close to the midyear exams, and then they scheduled a road safety lecture... i need that hour and a half!!!

You have my sympathy. Just before the end of my second to last year we had a huge amount of coursework to finish and they decide to cancel lessons for a whole week and replace it with various enrichment workshops. We did all sorts of different things from learning the very basics of harmonica playing to animation. It was fun but it meant we all had to do a days worth of work once we got home plus what we otherwise would have done that evening. It makes me stressed just thinking about it.

ouch. I'm having panic attacks almost daily, but I've managed to get two out of four assignments done, then there is a presentation on Friday, also a maths test i will not be able to study for on Friday.

What the fuck?! Why's my fire alarm BEEPING so loud, so early in the morning, for no reason? It's not triggering, but beeping at a very slow pace and a regular beat, a high pitched squeal every couple of seconds for no reason.

If your fire alarm is anything like mine, it must have triggered at some sort of vapour or gas near it. Mine once triggered from steam from the shower.

Happened at my place, once every 30 seconds though. Me and my dad fiddled with the settings for a while and it shut up.
