So, I was driving around town today, and the carnage is immense. Seriously. There are billboards that have been crumpled up like paper, and 50 foot trees snapped in half or uprooted completely. Power lines down everywhere. Numerous buildings have had their roofs caved completely in, or ripped completely off. (The BK had both happen, when the roof got ripped off and thrown into the street and the hood vents collapsed inward.) My cousin lost the back half of his house. No damage to mine, though, so I guess it's not all bad.

Yeah, I guess you don't get it.  I think people are blowing their absurd love of the show way out of proportion.  But as a cartoon descended from, well, what it is and ostensibly a marketing tool to preteen girls, it's a surprisingly entertaining and well written little show.  It's no Adventure Time by any means, but it's not supposed to be, it was what happened when a very intelligent female writer with a chip on her shoulder was given license to do whatever she wanted with a property.  Also a lot of fan respect, like when an animator slipped a retardo-looking pony in the background, and the writer turned her into a minor character after the Internet ran with it.

It was made for kids and their parents. It just seemed that lot of people really liked it.
