True Fact:  I would rather discuss Justin Bieber with 14 year old girls than discuss metal with metalheads.  That's how obnoxious they are.

And that makes me sad because I listen to metal.

But we're still better than punks and emos.

There's math metal?

Is that... Singing about algebra and stuff?

Emos, yes. But what's wrong with punks?

After a while you sort of build up an immunity to music discussions. Mithradism and all that.

I listen to mostly metal, and I don't listen to most of what's on that list.

I also don't know many people who listen to metal, but the ones I do know are some of the least obnoxious when it comes to talking about music.

I've read something on Wikipedia about mathcore.  It's not really about math but more about having atypical beats or something.  From what I listened to it's not really something I would enjoy since it seems to just drag on and on and makes me sleepy.

My PC screen almost made me shit my pants when it didn't turn on for about 4 minutes.

On that note, I find technical styles quite sleepifying as well.
I will often put on PORTAL or Meshuggah to fall asleep to.
Part of why I like Tool is the amazing fusion of technical and emotional.

I have heard this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7BoKOscMrY described as mathmetal, though I am not one to judge anything. Love the song however.

I honestly don't consider those cookiecutters for musicians, they're comedians at best. The sort that's so bad you giggle.

A few weeks ago, I got drunk and did something stupid with a friend.  I blabbed to another friend for some comfort, my friend said everything's ok, it was an accident, move on.  Said friend then gets drunk later and blabs to another friend.  A very blabby friend.  Blabby friend tells everyone he can.

Relationships afterward: all very strained.
