I'm sad because some people are being real dicks.
On purpose off-topicness, since they don't like where this is going, as an attempt to cover up the discussion.
Namecalling.
Being generally unreasonable.

GK... Be a little mature. Please.

Also I am bleeding. This has made me sad.

Nose bleed? Cut yourself? I'm a little worried, should I be?

Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to start a movement, the:

"I can't see the tantrum spiral." Group, maybe the "Counter-clock Spiral." group. Basically, I'm going to act like a dummy and forget this is happening or even going on in every. single. thread.

Free entry, also we need a logo.

On topic: I cut my finger on a PC case that I was yanking the HD out of, nothing more than stings but still annoying as hell.

<snip>

Criptfiend, I don't agree with Makrond's suggestion that the DF community is worse than Minecraft's community, although for all I know, perhaps that is the belief of other communities outside both.
Regardless, you called him 'stupid' and a 'troll', without first demanding evidence and then providing him the opportunity to present it. By doing so, you attempted to invalidate any further arguments he could have presented, and I am not surprised he took exception to this.

Ouch, hate cuts on fingers, mostly because it makes typing annoying.

Ditto.

Only thing worse for me is a cut on the inside of my elbow or knee. Or a wound on my tongue D:

I never really had problems with cuts on tongue. They heal so fast, how could you be worried? Now burns on your tongue from eating hot food suck! It ruins your entire meal.

@MM: the anti spiral?

I'm assuming the tantrum spiral is going Clockwise, so I'm going the other way.

It was on the little finger and on it's knuckle which I don't use to type.

Oh man, don't get me started on tongue burns.

That's worse than tongue cuts by a long shot.

...You know, I typed up a whole bunch more, but I just backspaced it all because there isn't really a point in trying to convince the problem that there's a problem.

Therein lies the problem; a problem needs something to be a problem to. Without a thing to plague, a problem is just a thing.

problem problem problem
Yes, I definitely called you a troll, and I definitely expressed support and defense of Janet's closings of the Happy thread. You can certainly look back on the posts and see the words there in plain black (or grey, depending on settings) and white.

Sarcasm aside, at least Janet apologised for her part in this.

This is an honest question, I'm not attempting to troll you, but do you feel that as a result of Janet herself admitting her own wrongness, that perhaps you were white knighting for her at all?
I won't say that she's been wrong to close it on all the times she has, but on that particular time do you feel maybe you leapt to the defense because you were used to doing so, and not because the situation merited it?

sidenote: too many posts keep coming for the post button to allow me to post D:

I'm sorry, but I'm not white-knighting for Janet, or for anyone but myself; I don't think she should have closed the happy thread this latest time or indeed, many of the other times, but I'm not hounding her about it because she apologised, said she wouldn't do it again. Dasleah, on the other hand, was complaining about the same thing as Janet- a discussion not going as he'd like- but he kept arguing.

sidenote: Yeah, me too. Drama does this. Christ all Friday, seventeen of the bastards. And three more. And another for luck. X2

Is there an option to delete or suspend your forum account?
Does Today accept such requests?

Or would I need to be a total dick in public for that to happen?
