I remembered visiting the so called 'virus world' in the yellow edition of Pokemon. You know, there one were random tiles are mixed up and so on.
I nearly panicked when my Pickachu showed a weird mood-animation and ran off.
Don't think I ever went there again...

I think the hacked game pastas are meant to prey on twisting the innocent and comforting nature that those games are supposed to have.  It's the same motive behind creepy dolls, children, etc in horror movies.

Indeed.
Inanimate objects can be a lot scarier, than anything that can be considered alive by any standards, in this context.

Inanimate objects that are moving are scarier. For a good portion of my childhood I found Woody from Toy Story terrifyingl. I almost shat myself when I first saw them attacking the sadisti kid in the first one.

Feeling depressed and apathetic. I know why, and it's a damn terrible reason, which only makes me feel worse.

Can't sleep for the first time in ages. I too know why and it's ridiculous all the same.

Man, you should see my Dad's house.  The only drinks he gets are water, milk, tea, and protein shakes.  All the time.

I drink a Coke first thing in the morning, maybe a second one if I'm really thirsty.  After that it's water until I can't stand the taste anymore, at which point I'll drink a third and usually last Coke.

My Health teacher has the same habit.  Every time I have her class there's like three Coka-Cola bottles on her desk.

This has probably been my worst day so far this year. On the other hand, it hasn't been too bad really, so I suppose that makes me a little happy. Doesn't really abate my concern for a friend, though.
