No, I consider the people of this board definitely very-close online friends.  But sometimes you want a hug or something, and you guys don't work quite as well for that =/  I only recently realized that I'm still kind of failing at the whole "go out and socialize" thing, so I'm workin' on it.  This semester didn't work out so well for that.

Oh, well.  It's been a definite improvement on most fronts, thus far.  I'm just kind of at that stage of life.

And, this evening, I am feeling temperamental :I  As usual.
I need to schedule my plans to California sooner so i can go hug you and make you feel better.

Heh. I'm actually moving out to California for a few months later this year.

I probably wouldn't hug you though, Vector, cause I'm not really that guy. Also, we don't know each other very well so it would be a little awkward, and possibly creepy.

If you're here over the summer and are willing to meet me in a public place (blah-de-blah), I'll feed you stuff.  For serious.

I have this sudden urge to further-befriend Vector and travel to Berkeley . I haven't heard her mention anything about food that I didn't like.

Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

What, the artichoke?

I don't eat those, I just use 'em as my avatar >_>  I'd probably just make up some stew or curry or crepes or something.  Probably going to make a bunch of banana bread next weekend :3

Artichokes = delicious. Honestly the main thing to avoid in life is peas, and to a slightly lesser extent, lima beans. All else can be rendered palatable with the appropriate preparation.

Well of course, if you don't have your one and one half potato per meal, you are simply not a American.

Hmm, I do put peas in my stir fries.  They actually aren't bad, though, because they're usually drowning in other stuff.

Vegetarian, and I eat an onion every day.  Other than that, not really.

I'm moving out about mid-August, to the Sacramento area.

I'd be totally cool with meeting up and hanging out, because you're a cool lady and I like good food. I've never actually met anyone from online before though.

Well, I think one of my grandfathers are like 1/4 American...

Last I checked, I'm 100% Filipino.

Also, ONIONS!

Mmmmm.

A GODLY CURSE, PERHAPS. I KNOW THAT PEAS ARE RETRIBUTION UPON HUMANITY FOR ITS HUBRIS IN DEVISING AGRICULTURE. THIS IS SCIENTIFIC FACT, ACCORDING TO MY OPINIONS.

That IS one of the few acceptable uses. I don't mind the texture, just the flavor, and if it's drowned in other, less inherently blasphemous foodstuffs, it's alright.
