Did you happen to be eating any excess of copper or iron recently? Had any pennies in your mouth?

Yeah, sure, I've been on a strict diet of bikes and coins recently.

It's not really unusual. Particularily when you have a sore throat because of coughing (as you do)

Liver, seafood, beef and beans are foods with high iron content, as well as copper.
Beats, tomatoes, and a lot of fruit are also high in copper content.

So it was a legitimate question.

*sigh*

Have to ask for an extension on my algebra homework due to having gotten sick for so long.  My head is still fuzzed up.

My Morning So Far:

6:36AM - Stay up as long as possible to leave confirmation message at my new job's answering machine
6:41AM - Go to sleep
Nebulous - Have a crappy boring dream about my current job and rut in life
12:02AM - Wake up one minute before alarm clock, turn it off
12:09AM - Lay in bed, turn off second alarm before it goes off
12:09:30AM - Get confirmation call back from work

This is going to be a long day.
