I am glad to have attended a Church as a child; I loved the warm atmosphere there, the talents that people shared freely, the tasty ethnic food, and the quiet openness of the Narthex after everyone had gone to the social areas.

We had a small polish community gathered around a polish priest here in Austria.
I knew most of my childhood friends from there. And after mass we would always visit some of the others poles from there.
Back then I still was a "normal" child.

In short:
Christianity.
Bringing people together for nearly two thousand years.

And also driving a few families apart, but that's more of a parents problem than a church problem.

I wish I had a tablet.  How much for a decent one?  $50?

I have an 8"x6" Intuous 3 that I'd like to sell for $180, which includes a separately bought carrying case and airbrush.  It's a few years old, but very well taken care of and still works like new and nearly looks like it, too.

This is a good deal, which would be something I'd go for if I were in the US.

I'm sad because I'm getting intensely frustrated trying to find a reliable proxy to get around my school's dumb surfcontrol web-blocking software. I mean, I can find tons of proxies, but getting a proxy that doesn't constantly badger me with ads and surveys that can't be completed is another thing entirely. I might have stumbled across a good one, but only time will tell.

Have you tried Firefox portable with Foxyproxy pro?

Oh hey, I did that, and I suddenly realize I don't know how to use this thing. Apparently I need proxies to add to it, which I'm not sure how to do or even what it means.

Depending on your network, you may not need the proxy at all. At college, just using Firefox get's around most of the security in place.

Feeling pretty depressed.

Yurgh.  I wish I understood why these moods keep coming over me.
