Y'know, being working class doesn't automatically mean you don't know anything about anything... especially if the thing in question comes up in primary education and popular culture.

Well that amount sounds pretty normal to me, if it's a general check.
They might be content with 1-2 smaller ones, if they are looking for something specific.

... No, anemia is the one where you have too little iron and thus they take a lot of blood away to check and make sure that you don't have enough.

The bloodloss isn't my problem though.
It's more the creepy feeling you get, from somebody piercing your skin with a metallic needle.

I dont think so, from memory anemia is lack of iron in the blood, wich happens mostly to lady's for montly reasons.

Yeah.  I remember.  Expecting any combination of mental facility/attention span/curiousity from a rowdy teenager is pure fantasy.  I got plenty of blank/annoyed stares from trying to reason with people who only wanted to start trouble, like "What?  We're supposed to be hitting each other already!  Is this guy stupid or what?" 

And I don't think it's a social class thing, just a stupidly aggressive teenager who is projecting the abuse he receives at home or simply doesn't understand that actions have consequences or thinks he's going to impress some girls thing.

It gets better as you get older, but only because you have more freedom to avoid those people.  In my experience so far (I'm 27), most never really grow up.
