Just had a fun yet sobering conversation with a contractor.  I graduated with a Bachelors of Political Science and a History minor.  He graduated with a double-major in History and English and his girlfriend had Political Science.  Both of them wanted to go to law-school but it just didn't happen.  Now he makes over a thousand dollars a week as an electrician, his original fall-back idea.

It's a damn good thing I didn't pick a degree for the money, or else I'd be pretty bummed right now.

Grandpa had another stroke, this one pretty bad. He's at the hospital, and I have no idea how well he's doing. The family organised a trip out to the hospital, and didn't tell me about it, the stroke, or anything. I wouldn't have heard about it at all unless I had caught my brother on his computer, and specifically asked asked what he was doing at my folk's house.

Going to the hospital now, and hoping for the best.

Between myself, one of my best friends, and another two friends, it seems to be a bad season for heart attacks among grandfathers. Hope you and him both get through this all right, Solifuge.

"Are vikings manly?"

*thinks about 5th Edition Space Wolves*
Do we get time to debate the answer?

Also, I had my blood sucked today so I'm kinda light-headed and I feel useless.

Don't know anything about the space wolves, so your debate would be lost on me.  Might hold more weight between those more warhammer savvy.

They're chavs.
They probably don't know what Vikings are

Then they'll ask, and you tell them "Midevil warriors with large amounts of facial hair and bloodlust.  The word berserker comes from the name given to their battle rages.  They went around pillaging and stealing women.  Manliest men in history.  Valhalla was the afterlife for only their greatest warriors who fell in battle, and they crossed a rainbow bridge to get there."
