I think my attempts to show a lesbian friend i accepted the way she ways (and not least that I wansn't going to keep chasing her no matter how much I liked her) backfired rather badly.

Turns out I was wrong about why she was upset. As it happens, there's a new guy at work, and a coworker of ours tried to pull the same cruel "lets get him to think the lesbian is straight and wants him" prank she pulled on me.

You used to be able to make a sorta spring that would glitch more lava in. It has been a long long time since I have played. So I don't know when it was fixed.

Oh well.

I had a brier or something slash straight across my eyeball and I can hardly see/focus, it hurts like hell and the watering is in such quantity that my body thinks it has allergies (when I don't even have things to be allergic to over here for the next 6 months).

Every one of my grades is taking a sudden and unexpected nosedive, and I've got no idea why. I'm doing the homework, I'm studying for quizzes but the grade keeps falling and my parents are growing more and more pissed off at me because of that

GAHHHHHH!!! The World War Z movie may be cancelled if Paramount can't find a financier to help shoulder the cost. 'At The Mountains of Madness' apparently was also cancelled a couple weeks ago!

Considering nerds are such a solid movie-going audience, that's too bad.  Maybe?  I have no idea, I bet most of people who "saw" The Watchmen saw it pirated.


Sunday was a really easy night at work.  Yesterday, my Supervisor said he was singled out all departments for getting great productivity, and (claims) he foisted all the praise on his workers, i.e. me.  Naturally, this is when my body decides it just can't handle allergies and infants, and throws a hurricane of phlegm and joint-pain down my chest.  I already clocked out early last night, after my #1 coworker insisted I go home and the Super was cool with it.  Now I just called in again, because four different kinds of medicine have all failed me, and I can't stay standing for more than ten minutes before I feel nauseous from snorting so much.  Third time this year this process has repeated itself.

I'm sick of this goddamn dichotomy between both wanting and not wanting to go to work all the time, mainly because I don't want to let down my coworkers, since I actually do like them and I like having a good reputation.  Probably more than that, I'm sick of being sick with the same damn disease every other month.
