Because he's thirsty and alcohol is dehydrating?

Or, maybe, because he doesn't drink.

Saw a bunch of pictures of a dead boy today. Not the worst thing I've seen as part of my job, but it's somehow more disturbing when it's a child.

It's already gone.

Also, you're seriously gonna follow 'I saw a dead child' with 'A kind of annoying troll came back'?

What do you do for a living, Mayday? Sounds like cop or doctor. Also, I can't possibly relate but I feel for you.

e: in less depressing matters, Pathos is seriously pulling a blatant multi-ban dodge ala Hungry? I didn't think he was that thick.

...Also, I can't possibly relate but I feel for you.

Same, I can't really imagine how that would rip me apart inside.

I've seen worse, it's just kind of depressing when it's a child. Not that it's greatly better when it's adults but... strikes home a little more.

Well the cop thing wasn't too far afield. I get to see a fair bit of messed up stuff some days.

I posted before reading the edit, actually, so I was wracking my brains to think how you might end up seeing something like that.
