You need a 70+ to pass Math 116, AKA what should hopefully be the last math class I'll have to take.

I got a 69.75

First order of business: no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no

Second order:  What the hell teacher?  You can't bump me up a quarter of a point?  What did I ever do to you?

Did you go to talk with him?

Mind you, it seldom works, but it seldom hurts, either.

I'm suddenly remembering the reason I didn't do the extra credit:

"Eh, that's a lot of work, and five points added to a test won't make or break my grade"

Bluh, only through the Iron age in my speech, and must sleeep. I'll work on it tomorrow, after work.

Beg and plead, beg and plead, beg and plead.  It's obviously a math class for people who aren't majoring in anything related to math, and the professor is painfully aware of that.  The worst you can lose is your pride.

Digger ended today. I need a new webcomic to follow
;_;
Yeah, it's hard to find greatworks like that, where even if the author doesn't always know what they're doing, they do it right. If you do find one rivaling Digger, could you let me know?

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Shit man, not much worse than parents arguing when you're a teen, except parents arguing when you're a kid. I feel for you.

e: Oh Jesus, it's been two months since I checked Homestuck. It's getting so big it's driving me away.

Okay... Maybe you should call a psychiatrist. If he isn't an idiot and he isn't just fucking with you, then he probably needs some help.
Really?  No way!
It's not like we knew that before you told us. We may be internet people but we're no psychics. Except Japa.

Sadness today: I'm going to a track meet today, but directly afterward I'm leaving so that I can make it to my grandfather's remembrance-dinner-type-thing. It's like a funeral, except with no body, no religion, and no pomp or circumstance. He was a pretty rad dude, I think. Only one of my immediate family other than my brother and my dad that isn't wildly Catholic, so we hung out a lot on Sundays when I was younger. I haven't seen him in forever, but I'm still saddened by his death. I believe that goes against his will, though. He wrote that nobody should be sad because there's no point crying over spilled milk.
