I lost faith in humanity at the start of the 20th century.

And you're not the only Atheist. Sucks for me, everyone else is christian.

I lost my faith... yesterday I believe. Only because Vector restored some of it before.

No wait, the day before that. <_<

On that. I seriously. Seriously. believe my strongest and most recent crush is going to kill me.

Yes I feel like I'm going to kill myself over it. Yes I'm fighting it. Yes it's horrible. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Ugh, I'm really sorry to hear that.  Stay strong!

I'm not quite doing that badly, fortunately--it's mostly just ... awkward.

My faith in humanity is non-existant.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

No, I mean, I lost my faith in humanity long ago, but now it's in the negatives.
Wait, that means it's there again.
I'm confusing myself again.

I've been an atheist since I was five, or six.
I mean seriously, even as a little kid, I realized that the thought that a supreme being that ruled over us all is completely preposterous.

At the risk of sounding pretentious (because I'm not really that much older), I'd like to say that the crush thing gets better over time. At least in my experience, I'm far more cool headed in that regard than I used to be 4-5 years ago. I've not gotten a strong crush in quite a while..

Blah blah no faith in humanity.

There's a lot of shitty people. But even though I've been through hell. And heard of and seen others go through hell. I still know good people are out there, and that's why I'm even here anymore.

[humor] So, I'm doing research on the history of man (for a speech in which I took it upon myself to cram the entire history of employment into five minutes or less,) and I found the physical specs for different types of humans over the years. Let's see, 5'7", 5'9", 6'2"...ah, here we go, 5'2" and heavily built. Homo neanderthalensis.

Well...fuck. I'm a neandertal. That...actually explains a lot.

Ah, it's not that I'm hot-headedly rushing into anything.  They're not really strong crushes, but I get them so infrequently that... well, they're kind of distracting.  And it's nice to have had a crush for a year and a half that didn't go away, but isn't overwhelming.

But... but still, it's kind of strange to appreciate and miss these people so much, even though just a little while ago I really hated one of them, and I only met one a little while ago :<

Not so! I'm a weak atheist (I call myself agnostic.) Jew, who partakes in the awesome-er parts of Pastafarianism.
