Or, perhaps, the saying "long-term relationships before transient moments of pleasure."

I just realized that I have scheduled two conflicting things.

1: an overnight drunken bonfire party tonight that includes single women.
2: an airsoft match 2 states away tomorrow morning with my best friends that I have known for a decade.

I believe the old saying "Bro's before Ho's" comes into play here

This.

Eloquently put.

Perhaps, but try saying that with a mouthful of pennies

I hate that trick. They always get stuck between my teeth.

How bad are your teeth that you have gaps the size of coins in them?

I'll see if I can do both...

I'll have to skip the drinking and only stay at the bonfire for a few hours before driving to Mississippi.

I have REALLY been needing to get out and meet women. Been single since September after 8 years of being with someone insane. I am not in college any more, almost no women work in my field, and I never was one to go out to bars/clubs and I don't do the church thing. Add to all that I am severely out of practice and don't know many people here.

Good idea, especially dropping the drinking, you need maximum thinking process for this.

Play a visual novel.

Which?  Got any suggestions?
Depends, you want romantic or Epic?

I like tragedies best.  Romance is okay as long as the girls are really cute and interesting.  Epic is good as long as it's actually, you know, epic.
What if it's a psychological murder mystery series?  I know I've been saying this a lot this past week (I started last week), but Umineko no Naku Koro ni is totally awesome and deep.

My problem is that I want to write, or, more accurately, make stories ( whether they are videogames, books, movies, etc, but mostly books) and I don't want to be a hobo.

Hobo-dom in the Philippines is not very fun. :v
My teacher's response: "filling out lottery tickets?"

I thought TEACHING would be her first suggestion.

At least she was honest in semi-admitting that there's no future in teaching.

Typical friday night.
I give the last person in my MSN window about 20 minutes, before he disappears.
