I'd like advice on some distractions.
Wow, just in time. I just started distracting myself from my own problems and suddenly have surplus ideas to spread!

Okay, here's what you're going to do. You'll need some supplies.

One metallic bar, 1/4th inch diameter.
Three sturdy planks
Two or more pairs of pliers
One pair of tough wire cutters
Probably a power drill
As much 1/16th inch diameter stainless steel wire as you can get your hands on.

I guarantee it will take you for goddamn ever to finish. I've already burned 10 hours doing this without even finishing the front.

Download stuff.

@Barbar~

Thanks for the link!  I don't think I can try that right now, but it seems like a fun thing to do someday.

Okay!  I'll send you a PM tomorrow at the earliest, because I still have three or four problems I have to do tonight, and then... home for spring break.

Would you believe that some people thought I meant I was going to learn to make yarn scarves and such when I said I was going to take up knitting? (A link to an example of someone using the term properly.)

Is that your blog? If so, neat.If not, lame. :P

Seriously though, now I want to be a dwarf and take raw metal coil and a pair of needles and make an artifact metal scarf.

... Yeah?  After all, knitting usually refers to that thing one does with wool...

She's right, cloth called dibs first on the word. Course i do leatherwork so the only knitting for me is to stitch the ends.
