I'm not a psychologist, but if I've got it right Paranoid Schizophrenia is characterized only by paranoid fears that are absurd/impossible/nonsensical/unreal. As such, if her paranoia is at least somewhat rooted in reality, I wouldn't worry about schizophrenia. On the other hand, if she's checking her bed sheets every morning to make sure Osama Bin-Laden doesn't kill her (Yes, there was someone who really did that, according to my psych teacher.), then you have somthing to worry about.
Well, she's not that insane.

Extreme paranoia.

Given that you're only "suspecting" and we're busy diagnosing your mother, do you know what General Anxiety Disorder is?

My mother has that.  My friends tend to think that she's completely crazy, but she just worries a bit more than most people about things that certainly could happen.

That sounds more like it.

I think I might have a mild version of that.

Yeah, all it takes is studying psychology to be convinced that you're an undiagnosed Bipolar-Schizophrenic-OCD-Depressed-Demented-Manic-ADHD-ADD-Phobic-Autistic-Delirious-Dyslexic-Kleptomanic-Narcissistic-Perfectionist-Pyromaniac-Sociopathic-Schizoid-Narcoleptic-Psychopath.

I won't find out if I'll be accepted into the Storrs campus of UCONN until late May.  Ugh, what a horrible time to find out.

EDIT:
Holy crap 621 pages of just classes and classes and classes.  Geez.

Is that racism against whites?  You have to take that class and tell us what it's like.

It has enrollment restrictions so I'm not sure if I'll be applicable.

Remember the time when you could order a whole pizza and eat that thing alone?
I don't.

It's sad that nobody ever wants to share and yet everbody complaims that it's been too much.
Actually it's more nausea than sadness, but I figured that's close enough.

Yes. I have been able to do that since I was 10 (and weighed 44 lbs.)

Heh. I'm just about to be able to, and I'm at early-mid teens stage. I can scarf down 6 pieces, forge my way through 7, and then get in a bite or two of 8 right now.

I'm still surprised how there are people who can't eat an entire pizza in under 5 minutes.
