I wouldn't be surprised if he was under 12 the way he posts even. He still has internet toughguy special snowflake syndrome. ... Kinda like Hungry.

...

Gamerknight is Hungry.

Hooray for talking about people as though they aren't there, especially after that thing with iceball in the other thread.

Why are we cutthroating ourselves here people, we are better than this.

Had a rather interesting event happen to me today.
Helped an old lady across the street, then to the bus stop about 150m away.
She was 58. You'd have given her 75 at least. Thin as a twig. Had a heart condition. Spent two weeks in bed. Atrophied muscles. She couldn't walk faster than a baby's crawl. She was out of breath every ten meters even so. Her tearducts were constantly on because of the cold.
She works for the state. Had her salary cut back by about a third recently by the government's "solutions to the economic crisis". She can't afford medication anymore. She has no one to run errands for her.
The whole 150m trip lasted about half an hour. That's enough time for people to tell you these things when they have no one else to tell them to...

And GamerKnight can't sleep. Boo Hoo.

Us. Personally, I would think that would be something that Gamerknight would say.

No. Hungry was adorably inept and hilariously incomprehensible. Wish he hadn't disappeared (well, he was banned from the forums (twice), but he just disappeared from IRC one day).

And GamerKnight can't sleep. Boo Hoo.

I'm pretty sure this isn't "the things that are sadder than other people's things and then you get to rudely invalidate them" thread. Saying that someone can't be upset about something because something worse happened to someone else is a fallacy.

Also in general I'm not really sure what's up with the all the downtalking going on here.

Precisely.
Misplaced irony and sarcasm are very unpleasant things. Everything would've been peachy without the little "puny probs" comment.

I think GK is joking about the magnitude of his sadpost, and I also think you guys are jumping down his throat far too eagerly.

Criticising Janet here. She's doing basically the same thing you were, minus the apology.
