TvTropes killed the Super Secret Spoiler tag because it "served an existing feature, and thus was useless and annoying". And just when I was starting to believe that there was such a thing as a wiki without nazi admins.

You do realize that if you were to say this at an Apple cultist gathering, you'd likely be turned into a human sacrifice for the Great Unshaven One, don't you?

What did it do?
Super Secret Spoiler created a spoiler that lacked the black dot outline, and thus could not be determined from the background unless highlighted. It was used for in-page Easter Eggs and to suprise someone highlighting parts of the page, along with creating another "level" of secret beyond the normal spoilers. It was a fun and clever feature that really helped the wiki's style, even though it had limited use.

And they removed it because it was "determined to be useless". Apparently, pure utility is the only thing that matters anymore.

Apple people are already known to be crazy, you don't have to prove it.

Nooo, being a smartass is what matters.
This reminds me of the time Blizz decided to "revamp" the Enhancement Shamans' talent tree over a year ago.
One skill was removed because it was too similar to a Rogue core skill.
A second was removed because it was too similar to a Druid core skill.
A third skill was removed because it was too similar to a Shaman core skill, namely itself.
