At least Bruce Willis is coming to save us all.  Hey, is that Tyler Durden?  Oh wait...  Yeah, speaking seriously, I never did figure out who the "bad guy" was supposed to be.

If your talking about fight club then...I don't know, then again there relay wasn't a good guy in the movie or book.

Eh, wasn't it that blonde scientist spreading the virus, whom our saviour Bruce was eventually told to kill?
If your question was in fact some allusion to moral ambiguity of various parties in the film, then I completely missed it.

Nah, I was talking about 12 Monkeys.  That movie was weird and confusing, and had no real resolution except "The nominal good guy destroyed the world with a stable time loop, whoopse!"  Yeah, my point is, the plot was just so convoluted I don't know who was supposed to be what.

I'm going crazy.  Apparently (y+4)^2=-4(x-2) is graphable even though pretty much every value of x I put in leads to a square root of a negative.

Is there something obvious I've missed?  Is the swampy musty post-rainstorm air making my head fuzzy?  This is making me hate math again, and we were just starting to reconcile our differences.

Yeah, you wouldn't solve it by taking the square root (which is what it sounds like your doing), its not a function, but its graphable.
EDIT:
Its basically a sideways parable, instead of x^2 it has y^2. if you want to use a graphing calculator, then i think you could do
y=sqrt(-4(x-2))-4 and y=-sqrt(-4(x-2))-4, nope that doesn't work...

X=0 gives you (y+4)^2=8

so y=Sqrt(8 ) -4 or y= -(sqrt(8 ) +4)

Seems graphable to me.

Anyways, it's a parabole, with a summit on (2,-4), heading towards the left.

Personally, I would work out how you translate x^2=y to it.

It's domain consists of all real numbers x <= 2.

I am completely fucking vexed here, and if I can't figure this out I'm going to fail my last math test and in doing so fail this class, which is the last math class I'll ever need to take.

Fucking math, this was all part of your plan.  Make me more comfortable with math so you can come in with this bullshit.

So. Sitting in bed. Have a fever running around and upwards of 100*F. Feel like crap.

All I can think about is how much trouble I'll be in if I miss more school. FML.

ED: Did I mention a fucking huge tornado is running through my area and I may have to sink down to my basement at any moment? Yeah.
