I'm so detached I'm not in touch with reality.

I'd tell you, but Toony's detached floating fingers are kind of freaking me out over here. It's like my mind is detaching itself from reality so I don't have to see it anymore.

I think you guys need to take a leaf out of Vector's book and take a break from the internet, do something outside of the box.

Once you start getting good teachers and classes full of critical-minded student things get pretty great though.
The community college I go to is a satellite college of a community college in a city of almost half a million people. Pretty much every student there is just trying to get 'a degree' as fast as possible and get a better job because of it. I have run into all of three people asides from the other Running Start students that do more than the bare minimum at any given time.

Still, some of the teachers that run online classes are pretty cool. The college hired some of the education-majoring students of a nearby state college to do all the teaching for the online classes, with some supervision from the heads of their departments. Learning English from someone who's just starting to teach it is actually way more effective than learning from someone who has been teaching for thirty years.

I personally will never.
Unless something sends me into one of those hysteria things, then maybe...

I would think you need to detach some detachment from the detachment tree but I'm so detached I don't care.

No driving license, living in the middle of nowhere, friends living 40 km away, 48 hours per week 'serving my country' for another 4 months...
So yeah, it'll take some time until I can do something outside the box.

You're telling me you can't find one thing to do on your base? and i thought military service actually had some fun in it.

Civilian service. I avoided military service from the start.

Well, we have a tennis court. However it's winter and that sport really isn't my kind of beer.
I could get taught to play a musical instrument not far away from us (like 15 meters). However they only accept new students only at the start of a school year.

And yeah, that's pretty much it.
Once I'm done with my driving license, I'll have more options.
