My dog is getting kinda old (nine years, which is old for a small dog).
... the contrary is true. In general, small or relatively small dogs are longer-lived.

My molosser has arthrosis. He has to be given meds every day. The vet also thinks he might be developing canal stenosis (well, he didn't use those words, but the idea was the same), doesn't know how that might evolve.

I'm almost certain I'm falling sick with the monster-bug that's going around my Russian class, because I feel what can be called the inchoate beginning of pretty shitty and I was stuck right next to a sniffling classmate on Wednesday.

The associated fever apparently left her sleeping for 20h straight last weekend.

I have a oral test and a quiz, as well as three problem sets, due this Friday.  I'm going to do what I can to get them moved (spoken Russian with sore throat = terrible idea), but man... I don't feel the greatest, and that'll leave me with the aforementioned + a rhetoric midterm on next Tuesday.

Fortunately, I'm ready for almost all of that.  The main problem is that I have this nasty headache and sore throat already.

Guess I'm just going to send out emails to my professors, asking them to give me extensions until next Tuesday, because I sure as hell would rather spend a day down and out for the count than force myself to stay up late working tonight (there's no way I'm going to be able to do anything quickly, let alone be able to judge whether or not my answers are right), limp my way through my various real-time assignments of tomorrow, and manage to take public transportation at 8:20 tomorrow morning when I'm feeling nasty.

Sitting around at work, dead tired, waiting for the next assignment.
Well at least it's only 8 hours today.

I was trying to test something out in TF2 when I found out the achievement server I was going on had infinite ammo for everything.  Not going to miss this opportunity I wanted to try out everything.  There was like three guys on the server, a blu guy and two random guys.  It looked like they were just death-matching and messing around with the bots so I went along as another blu person.  Then one of the guys started getting pissed at me and kept "going after me" which I didn't mind.  Then he started insulting me.  Calling my personality disgusting and saying this is why he hates white people.  Where are you FUG server I can't be anywhere without you.

So, finished the color thing in school (Ended up naming it Whitespace, no points for guessing why.) and just wrote up my sonnet.

However, it still needs editing.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

But I love almonds!

I do, too.

These ones have spent too much time around maturing bananas.  As such, they taste really funky.
