I never state what I believe directly on the internet, but most of you probably know anyway.

Well as Cthulhu, shouldn't you have cultists worshipping you?

...

So does that mean you want to believe but you can't see it happening any time soon or are you cracking a joke?

More a joke than anything else.
I used to say I was atheist, but then I realised there's as much proof for the lack of a god as there is for the existence of one.
I'm an Epicurean agnostic.

I don't even care about them.

Hidden makes me really mad.  I"m pretty decent at it sometimes but I have a tendency to get stuck on stuff like pipes and light fixtures when I'm trying to get away and it always kills me, which puts me in a frothing rage.  It was so bad I gave up my terminallyCapricious chumhandle and changed to carcinoGeneticist.  More accurate.

Eh, 'most' Atheists are a lot like 'most' Christians. They don't do any research, no real looking around and deciding on something, just doing it because of their parents and friends.
I do believe there is a quote in my signature that applies here. The one about religion being akin to an erection. My family was very Catholic, with everyone going to church every Sunday and everything. I even used to go to Sunday school. I started asking questions, and I didn't get any answers. At the age of eight I left the church forever, and have since shifted from Agnostic to Atheist. I've certainly had time to do research. Anyway, that's a topic for the Thread That Shall Not Be Named.

Sadness: The girl that I like doesn't think that they deserve my love. Time to find out how to fix some self-esteem issues.

For some odd reason if I were to call myself an atheist I would feel like a douche bag so I don't have a title or bother for that at all.

I use the word because it means what it means.

theist = one who believes in or more deities
a = prefix that usually denotes negativity.
atheist = one who does not believe in one or more deities.
me = one who does not believe in one or more deities
me = atheist

Technically Buddhists are atheists as well. And I guess naturalistic pantheists are too, in a sense of the word.

Google's deactivated my email account for suspect activity. I think someone tried to steal it.

And the SMS thing just gives me some gibberish, so that's just great.

Certain Bhuddists believe gods exist but are simply beings on another level of existance also in need of enlightenment. I'm not sure what the most popular theory is in Bhuddism, but I'm pretty sure it includes gods.

Actually, I was thinking of becoming a Bhuddist. I've been looking into it over the past few days and I really like the sound of it.
