if i wanted to learn how to burn shit down ill talk to the kid next to me in the rec room who supposedly is a confirmed arsonist in California (like anyone else cares :P).

Anyone that is even supposedly a confirmed arsonist is a total dolt who doesn't know his accelerants.

I have an idea.  I need to work on specifics, but I have an idea.

Isn't committing an arson in California a bit redundant? The state of California seems to periodically burn almost completely to the gorund all on its own.

For arson?

Or for something less illegal?

No, it's an idea about education.  It's probably nothing special, but I think it's the beginning of the thread that may lead me to some sort of answer.

Are you creating a website for your new University?

I may make a website at some point.  There's a collective project I'm thinking about, too, but we'll have to see.

The minimum age for the reserve army in Canada has been brought up by one year.
I have to wait another year before joining.

That said, I am working on carrots.  I am working on making education so appealing that they'll find everything else trivial and uninteresting by comparison.  With luck, I'll be able to figure it out.

Well, if you do manage to figure it out, you should go tell the academic board. They've been working on it for years, so I bet they'd love to know.

What they need to do is to have the professors, rather of teaching their courses to the students directly, instead dictate the lectures to strippers wearing earpiece-radios (and little to nothing else) who would then relay the lecture to the class verbatim and in real time...

... If I create a university, there will indeed be job openings.

I cannot guarantee anyone a job opening at this time.

What kind of fees will there be?

Not sure yet, as I still need to continue my own education before I can even think about doing this, and then it might do me some good to work at a conventional university for a while, just so that I can understand the system... and by then, there will be inflation, federal grants or no grants, and so on.

So, all I can say is "I don't know, but trust me when I say that I consider learning and access to that learning more important than manicured lawns and basketball teams."

... Also, I'd be inclined to run a dorm with the students being given basic cooking and nutrition lessons every weekend for the first year, rather than eating terrible cafeteria food >_>  But that's just me.
