Whenever my elite team of nerds does something IRL, I get to be brains and brawn, but never the hands. I have to think up what we are making, and lug around all the materials and shit, but I never get to assemble or show off the items. I demand recognition  :'(.

In Japanese culture, nosebleeds signify sexual excitement.

As such, manga heavily featuring nosebleeds usually have a lot of NSFW sexual content.

Or dance around it in some perverse way that is kind of weird yet kinda tame. Throw some panties in there and bam, instant popularity increase.

Edit: Alternative title for Metro 2033: Stalker is for Pussies.

Metro 2033:  There are no nerds and definitely no harems.

Metro 2033:  Not an anime

Metro 2033:  No nosebleeds either.

Metro 2033:  Maybe if I'm lucky someone will think I'm STALKER and buy me.

You really do suck at throwing in this game. While your enemies can throw grenades halfway down a hallway, you only end up tossing them maybe a yard. Oh, and try to go through this game stealthily like it wants you to. I guarantee you it won't work 99.99% of the time, because if you miss a headshot (Which is usually really iffy anyway, because a lot of times the bullet will refuse to go in the direction you pointed the gun at.) with a silenced weapon and hit any other part of your enemy's body, They will instantly know where you are even if you're in complete darkness.

Quote from: Althusser by way of my Media Studies textbook
In ideology men...express, not the relation between them and their conditions of existence, but the way they live the relation between them and their conditions of existence: this presupposes both a real relation and an 'imaginary', 'lived' relation. Ideology... is the expression of the relation between men and their 'world', that is, the (overdetermined) unity of the real relation and the imaginary relation between them and their real conditions of existence.

Failing this midterm is going to make me sad. I cannot unravel that kind of shit.

Extended bad day streaks are pretty bearable as long as you get at least one decently-good day to mix things up every now and then. They're much less bearable when instead of giving you a decently-good day, it throws you an extra couple brutally awful ones. I don't know if I'm supposed to accept the merely bad days as the new norm for good days now or what but something is going to give if this keeps up much longer
