Yeah, the thing with me is, I like small-group, fast-paced FPS games.
Quake over a LAN or with a few long-distance friends is great.
MWF2 over Live with 23 other guys is just dumb.
Borderlands and Stalker I do like, but as single player games, focusing more on the RPG end, not so much as an FPS.
Bioshock I could never get into.
Not sure why.

Yeah, I don't like games that are constant action, I need to have some time to look at the scenery.

Insurgency's pretty cool.  It can be annoying getting killed instantly but unlike most games it seems like there aren't any ridiculous players that kill you no matter what.  It's pretty even and I usually get a lot of kills and even some good streaks.

I have Borderlands, but this was before getting a computer that could play it so I'm stuck on a console.  Which limits me to playing split-screen with my brother, because online is a mess.

Does anyone know if Borderlands: Game of the Year edition is online-compatible with plain old Borderlands?  Because I have the plain-old-version.  And it's only like $20, so once that's resolved, I'll just hand out my gifts.

Game of the Year has all the DLC in it I think.  Which shouldn't effect anything if you don't play any of those online.

*sigh* Catching up on the past few pages of this thread was rather deflating. Rather ironic that the lack of things to be sad about can make one sad.

Well, it is kind of contingent on me playing Borderlands too, I suppose.  If I deleted Oblivion and MechWarrior4 and Bioshock, I could meet it.  Then it's time for shit lets be santa, and the band's back together.  Aw yeah.

But yeah, no timeframe.  Whatever, it's just fucking games.

I had lots of fun playing that with my dad over the summer.
I doubt Borderlands will work, though.
Through Steam and, seeing as it's on the eksbawks, it's most likely DirectX.
