I've been working with a guy from Bosnia for more than two years, who himself barely speaks English after more than a decade in America.  I have not learned a single word of his language.  Hell, I don't even know what language he speaks.  He did finally manage to teach me the word for "lazy" but I forgot it.  "Madrady" or something like that.  Where's DJ when you need him...

This may also spell the end of my mathematical career as a serious student[...]

This is confusing.
So what are you up to? Simply catching up with the stuff you always wanted to do/learn? Waiting for what the future might bring?

I finally got so sick of my English literature lessons that I didn't go. I never expected to deliberately miss a lesson of anything, but the teaching is just so poor I'm better off just reading the shitty Victorian light fiction we have to read. To hell with the Bronte sisters and fuck the goddamn "classics".

Dawn of War 2's campaign is becoming really difficult, not because I'm bad at it but because my units can't function if I'm not directly controlling it and I'm not some twitch-microer so I can't handle making sure every single space marine is doing his job and my devastators aren't running right up to the carnifex.  I should have expected shit like this from the chapter that produced Indrick Boreale.  Not to mention only one space marine in the chapter has ever heard of tyranids.  Also the fleet's augur arrays never picked up the massive cloud of ships heading their way.  Also the only space marine who's ever heard of tyranids thinks he's cool and was all cagey about it for dramatic tension.

Basically the blood ravens completely suck at being space marines, and if it weren't for Davian Thule they'd have been wiped out centuries ago.

Amen brother. If you want to listen to the entire first one in text-to-speech, however, I can provide.

It's bogglingly soul destroying.

I found the time cube stuff thanks to Warhammer.

Augh, the insanity (and horrible layout) is destroying my brain. I must have been educated stupid, because I only managed half of the first page.

Very well. But do not blame me for what you voluntarily do.

My dad was having a stressful day about something, so he used me to vent on. Both my sisters saw the issue here when he said I'll fail the next semester because I failed the last two, and constantly made direct confrontations at me. I just stood there paralyzed in fear, not saying a word. He didn't seem affected by this.

If you are not going to put any interest in the relationship then I won't either. Your indifference to if I say anything or not shall be met with silence.

And I know this isn't gonna solve anything. He's still gonna assume that I'm just being stubborn and that all my problems stem form being addicted to the computer or TV or not having a social life, all of which are direct results of things he has done. I cannot explain this to him, as anything that remotely puts the blame towards him he won't accept. It's just me being rebellious and all that crap.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.
