That must have been awful. It's a damn shame those people didn't get punished, either. Ugh.
I don't think it should have to stay that way.  I mean... it's abuse on an enormous scale, and if MoM's able to talk about it to police now, it could be possible to reopen the case.

Statute of limitations could apply, and all physical evidence would be long destroyed.

Iirc, MoM is in Britain, which has no such Statute.  I can remember cases of people much older bringing charges against their parents.

As for no physical evidence... doctor's reports, social services reports, the neighbour's testimony, testimony from anyone who saw MoM during that time period... it could add up.

It's not like like-worded trolls don't abound, as a search among ED's copypasta will show.

I make no speculations as to the truth of this particular statement, though.

I feel kinda bad that I got a small sense of accomplishment when the actual story matched my hypotheses.

And again, it's entirely possible everything is a fabrication, but it doesn't hurt me to believe, so I choose to do so.

Skirmish mode in Dawn of War 2 is really frustrating.  Have some autonomy dammit.  I shouldn't have to tell each squad to take a point after they've destroyed it, and I wish they woudln't follow fleeing enemies right into the turrets.

Well, you dropped small details on the matter for so long that some of us started to become curious about it.

There's no need to apologize for that.

Friend of mine went through pretty much the same thing.
When she told me, there was nothing I could say, only hugs.

Well, at least you told us, hey. And nothing overly bad has come from that.
But shit like that can follow you for the rest of your life, and that's the worst part.
So I'm not really going to say anything. Just that I couldn't possibly understand what happened.

And what happened with the pregnancy?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.
