I've used WinDirStat a lot.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I don't think you CAN unlock a thread.

I've just realized I don't know how to unlock a thread, and probably nobody's going to tell me because you all know what I'm going to have to do.

You can. The unlock button is in the exact same place as the lock button. For me at least.

D:

Pain story go go go
My Dad told me over the phone that yesterday he was working out when his arm came out of his shoulder and made a "pop" sound real loud.  It went back in place after he rolled off the bench thing but he said the pain was unimaginable.
Ouch.

He should get that checked. Those kind of dislocations tend to reincide, and if left to its own devices might in time end up with arthrosis on that joint

Today I finally got to see him and the skin is all bruised.  It hurts when he moves his arm into that one position but otherwise this guy fights yetis so I'm sure if he was actually hurt he would check the doctor.  I've already told him myself.

It was almost 50 degrees today after almost a month of far-below-freezing temperatures and endless snowfall. The flooding was enormous, but at least I got to run in a T-shirt.

The problem is not that it's not hurting at the moment, but that dislocations of the shoulder joint tend to come back, and over time this can result in permanent damage to the joint.

Last time I was suppose to die it turned out to be ear wax.  I shouldn't even have mentioned it.  I'm already dead.

Ear wax??  I guess it can lead to some pretty bad aches or something?
