I doubt Valve cares about fifty bucks.
That's enough for a low/mid quality hat. Do you seriously think they would just pass that up?

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

You'd be surprised what companies would do to get $50 out of someone ::)

They'd probably use it as an excuse to sue me for X reason if they really cared.

I think the best and worst case is that your account will be locked until the dispute is settled.

Which would probably just be me paying them the $50 ::)

Tried Amnesia, eh.  It's weird that I'm Cthulhu and yet I hate most Lovecraftian fiction.  Bluh bluh spiralling towers, bluh alien geometry, bluh bluh angles, am I scary yet?

The Yogscast's Minecraft series ended on a cliffhanger. God damn. And I was really excited, too.

Makes sense to me.  Such horrific architecture must seem normal to you while us mortals scream in terror.

In all seriousness though, wasn't the scary point of such architecture supposed to be how it messed with people's heads?

Yes, but why would it do that?  It's dumb, it's a cliche, it's hacky.

My rampant guitar-purchase spree this morning left me without any money for food during breaks for my 9-hour shift at work.

Desktop Dungeons makes me sad.  Three games in a row I have been one hit from killing the boss.

I absolutely love Railroad Tycoon 2.  I tried playing Railroad Tycoon 3.  It's everything that was wrong with 2, including the ballbuster stock market, but all the good parts turned to shitty building blocks with an interface that looks like it was designed for Ages 4-8 Edutainment.

And I can't figure out how to play Burnout Paradise in singleplayer without accidentally connecting to matchmaker crap whenever I hit more than one button at a time.

It's cliche now. When he was writing it was a pretty novel concept. For that matter, The "alien geometry" wasn't used in that many of his stories, at least not the better ones.
