Farm Girl turned Good Witch meets magic blue-skinned micro-dwarves who think the real world is the afterlife and speak in something like a Scottish accent. Much Happens.
Thats pretty much it.

Blarg, it seems I gained about 4kg of Christmas weight.

Now to find some way of burning it off.

Why are people always coming to me with their problems ;_;

Fucking Duttle, can't sleep.
Tried sleeping. Duttle won't let me.

 I suppose this is as good a time as any to drop this. On Friday my brother who is visiting from Switzerland was playing with the puppy when the little guy rammed the back of his legs, knocking him over backwards onto the puppy. We checked the puppy for injuries and he seemed fine, going right back to playing with my brother a few minutes later like nothing happened. Then over the weekend we noticed that the dog was really terrified of my brother. I saw the puppy shiver for the first time, and it wasn't from the cold. He seems a lot more calm around the house and flighty when people approach. He's even throwing up a bit more, having difficulty keeping food down.
 We're gonna take him to a vet, but damn this is disheartening.

Well, I'd say he'll get over it, but dogs can be pretty badly effected by stuff that happens when they're puppies.  I've got one now who's almost three years old, but she still flinches and shrinks when anyone puts their hand near her face, and since she came from a shelter, I don't even know why.

 We've wrestled with him before and he just goes limp after a while and gets passive, and he has always recovered after stepping on a paw. This is a lot more severe, and has lasted longer than any other instance of him being hurt. It was the vomiting that drive us to our decision.

Born in a shelter?

My dog came from the shelter, too, but he had had his last family whack him on the nose so many times that he flinched, just as you describe.  After a couple of years he got over it.

I would like to know the verdict on the poor puppy's story. I'm a bit worried that he might have some kind of cut in his stomach or throat.
