Oh wow, there's a whole series of them!

Playing one of my old Minecraft worlds (snowy biome (from an older version of MC before biomes) with an igloo over a mineshaft with the real home underground + skylight in the main room), I spent plenty of time working on a tree farm and garden in the cave system below, and just as I was making a save, a brown-out occurred, therby corrupting my save and rendering it unplayable. That was easily 2 hours of work done too.

I reloaded my backup and it's so far behind. I no longer have interest to bring it back to it's former glory. I mean, some exploratory mining was also done in that time frame too. ARGH!!!! It looked so pretty, the farms had chandeliers and everything!!!! Even my underground tree farm was growing trees. I also did a bit of extra work making half-block ceilings (and maybe floors) in certain rooms/halls for a nice aesthetic effect.

It was pretty neat how I had some things established. Had it been on a MP server, I could've easily hidden the underground home with a few well placed blocks (merely leaving it a pocket-sized igloo on the surface when not in use), and it was essentially self-sufficient. But yeah, *poof* all gone now.

 Just finished my math finals. I'm fairly sure I'll get a 90% on it, but that isn't the issue. The professor bluntly remarked that this was the easiest final test he has given in five years, and that the other classes finished it in 30 minutes what my class took two hours to complete. And the last few major tests of the semester were clearly easier than the beginning ones, making me think the department made the class easier to pass just so they could have more passing students. And 'm one of the guys who likely would not have passed if not for it.
 This is perhaps worse than failing. Or perhaps I'll fail anyway for a double whammy of the dunce cap.

 Ah well, at least the mythology final tomorrow will be challenging, fun and easily passed by me as that stuff comes more naturally.

 Oh, and my graphic design professor sort of cracked today. Or perhaps didn't take her coffee, but it was rather hostile today as we presented our finals. Whatever, she said we all passed so no issues there.

Eh.  Every professor over forty claims they have to dumb down their tests a little bit every year.  To the extent that it's true at all, I consider it a balancing force to the changing nature of information access, cost of classes, virtually mandatory requirement of a degree for meaningful employment, and a lot of hot air so they can feel better about themselves.

Also, on a sad note since I'm ill I can't donate blood.  Because, giving blood while sick is a no-no or something.
