It's new since late early today, so that's not so strange

It looks visible now for a second, but then when it's finished loading it disappears. Dasleah's does the same thing. I think it's something to do with the host.

Guess I'll have to change the host tomorrow, and then we'll see.

Speaking of crap: The tuition fee rise in England has been approved.  Hello world's most expensive state universities.

Although a majority of Lib Dems refused to follow their leader on the vote.

We Californians know how you brits feel. We had some big student protests (which I myself joined) when the governer at the time Gray Davis (or Davis Gray?) was ruining our college education system and we (as in California) booted him out.

Also, I think I saw on CNN PM Brown saying that students actually pay more in the US than the brits will with the tripled tuition fees. I can't verify if that is true or not.

Following this an angry mob of students attacked the car of some politician, broke some windows at some government buildings and burned down a public Christmas tree. I can understand the mob attacking politicians and breaking government buildings, even if I'm opposed to such behavior. But burn down the Christmas tree? That's just petty.

The cap is actually £9000.  Although with all the other stuff you have to pay for when going to university, something like that isn't at all inconceivable.

Still, the Christmas Tree? I keep having issues with that one act of vandalism. An angry mob turning over cars and breaking windows I'll let slide because it's expected, this is a major thing shooting a lot of students in the wallet. The Tree just seems like a separate thing, like being angry at the military and burning down a hospital.
