Honestly this thing is nearly being held together with tape and glue as it is. I'm worried opening it up again might break it completely.

So... roughly 3 years? Sounds like it must've been through alot to start crapping out already. Not to sound insensitive, of course.

At least someone finally notices.

The rest of you are assholes.

Haha wow.

I don't know how old it actually is. It's a second hand repo item that fell through the cracks. Both literally and figuratively.

Hopefully it was somewhat friendly on the wallet when you first got it; otherwise, I'm surprised such an item has lasted as long as it has.

Well it was technically free. I really shouldn't have this thing but hey, here it is.

Well, that's actually pretty good. If there's a way you can extract data from the hard drive while you can, when the time comes for a new machine, you shouldn't lose too much.

Well I did manage to pick up a 1TB hard drive when I actually had some money. So I can back up important stuff. (Like my ideas and little writing snippets. And my reccettear save!)

Strangely, when I uninstalled the graphics card drivers windows booted normally aside from al the graphic errors. When I installed the latest drivers it wouldn't boot correctly. Huh. And whatever, I'll be getting a new one now that all options are exhausted.

Wait.

Install some older drivers. This happens sometimes.

Well, this is utter bullcrap. I got my schedule for the next week... only for it to show that for the 3rd week in a row, I'm not assigned any hours. Grr...

Well, at least I was given a Christmas bonus earlier, and didn't waste it on anything. But still, c'mon! At least I've been kept busy with some side-work I'll eventually get a decent payoff, plus something to add to my portfolio, from.

Last I checked, a decent netbook was 450.
Still, 25 dollars from twenty people really isn't that much.
And my laptop is a really good one that I got for 750.

what do you mean with "decent netbook"? most netbooks are around 250€ nowadays. The only one I can think that is about that price is the asus N1201, with a dual core processor. Which is a neat machine, but strains the netbook definition. Then there are the upcoming ones with the Atom 550 dual core, but AFAIK those arent out yet.

Bluh.
