Seriously, the Ghost Pepper is not a joke. This thing will put you out of commission for a day. It'll be nonstop agony.

You're all wusses.  I've had chili-peppered steak that'll make you pucker hard enough to swallow your own face, and burn your bunghole getting it out again.  The pain is the important part.

In other news, I'm off to work in half an hour.  It's amazing how tired sitting around for a day can make you feel.  Time again to march off to war.

There is something morish about the heat you get from spicy foods.  I mean, at the time, it hurts like hell, but afterwards, you kindof want to experience it again...

Don't think I'll ever get that attuned to it, though :P.

That would be, as my father puts it, "The Brain-Crack Effect".
Have some more endorphines...

Come on, just one more won't hurt...

Grah.
I had what looked like a winning hand, and when I play it, minus 12000 points.
What the hell happened?

Out of curiousity, what the hell game are you playing, anyway?

Some old PC-98 mahjong game.
Apparently it's also an H-game, but that requires you to actually win.

Huh. Considering I don't actually know how to play mahjong, it would probably be pointless to look it up.

It's having a bit of a spat. At first it just completely died except for Steam for some reason, and now the browser works but it's horribly broken, half the pages won't load and Flash won't work, so no youtube. I may test out TF2 to see if it somehow works and then play some STALKER.

Edit: now Google won't work, but strangely this site does.

It's hard to get into, but crazy fun once you do.
Basically, you've got four sets of tiles: three suites of basic tiles and the honour tiles, or something like that.
Basic tiles are coins, bamboo, and plain numbers.
Honour tiles are the four winds and three dragons.
On of the dragons is actually just a blank tile or empty box.
There are a few melds you can get: chi, pon, and kan.
Chi is three consecutive basic tiles (1,2,3 coins; 5,6,7 bamboo; etcetera.)
Pon is three of a kind.
Kan is four of a kind, but you can have a concealed kan in your hand.
A hand is thirteen tiles.
At the beginning of your turn, you draw a tile, and then discard one.
When your opponent discards, you are allowed to steal that tile to form a meld.
For example, you have two east wind tiles, and your opponent discards an east wind tile, then you can steal it and get a pon.
Anything else you'd need to know can be found here.

I had the same issue earlier today, when I was still using my aunt's computer in Nowhere, Tennessee. Bay 12 was the only site I tried that would load for me.

The older I get the more Colbert feels like Glenn Beck. I guess it's just a part of growing up.

Except that Stephen Colbert is supposed to be comedic satire, while Glenn Beck isn't.

Colbert does play his role really hard though. Like, uncomfortably hard.

Although, Beck does sometimes verge on seeming like a stealth parody sometimes. The TvTropes mentioned incident where he threatened, on a radio show, to "Drag out the Chalkboard and link you to Communism" comes to mind.
