Ours apparently has to be over by 2:00 because of my gosh-darned cousin and her husband.  Pff.

2pm? That is ridiculous.

I'd be thankful for it though.

Go Canadian thanksgiving!
I actually had a four-day weekend for Canadian Thanksgiving, too.
Of course, I'm probably the only person in the entire school who knows about Canadian Thanksgiving.

If you can profess knowledge of a holiday, you get time off.

Guy Fawkes Night, Talk Like a Pirate Day, Leif Erikson Day, International Suit-Up Day, and Canadian Thanksgiving are all the obscure holidays I know.

I'd be thankful for it though.

It means that we have to get up at ungodly hours to cook, so... not so great.  Especially non-great because my grandmother is pissy about sharing her stove.

I really can't stand Thanksgiving, because it means a two-hour drive both ways for two days in a row to the same town, but to visit different sides of the family.

Why would you want to take International Talk Like a Pirate Day off?  It's a great excuse to Talk Like a Pirate at work or school!

I like thanksgiving, it is my cousin's birthday and the only family Holiday that is not a sham.

Apparently some families actually love eachother and enjoy seeing eachother.

When I got home today there was a box on my porch full of canned goods and a turkey.
