This virus on my computer. I cannot catch it, only repair the damage constantly.

Apparently I'm getting on my father in law and his girlfriend's nerves because I'm not social unless I have to be, and I just try to stay out of the way. Not having my own place is killing me.

Backup and Nuke is always a good Plan Z for those kind of things.

I'm in a funk, and I can't shake it. I can't even see what's causing it, but I really don't want to do anything right now. I'm feeling uninspired on most every front.

Tomorrow, I'm going to head out for the day, and tackle a bunch of long-term errands, and see if that helps.
For what it's worth you're, like, one of my favorite people on the forums.

That said, hopping offline and making yourself take care of stuff is soooo good for mental health.

Really fucking pissed right now, since only one of my Call of Cthulhu players can actually be serious.
I had planned tonight for the past two weeks, and I have to call it in 2-3 hours early because it fucking pissed me off to much. I really showed them I meant it, because when they tried shooting a guy, one of my players had his leg almost destroyed, and the other two were arrested.

So, I'm guessing you plan to have them be trapped in a jail/hospital and only be able to watch as this week's unimaginable horror brings about the end of the world as revenge, then?

Dunno if this was posted about before. I know I'm not the only Kiwi to frequent the boards. But recently a mine collapsed in New Zealand, trapping almost 30 miners.

Today, a second explosion made it clear that none survived.

How the hell do you manage to get a zit on your eye?

Damn. Now I'm left wondering if they would have had time to reach them before the second explosion if the rescue teams hadn't been held back, or if it just would have gotten them killed as well. We'll never know if it could have turned out better, and that makes me even more sad.

There was no chance at any time. The mines were far to unstable for a rescue operation to be feasible, they had to wait until they were to try and they didn't know if the mines would ever settle enough for it to be feasible. So really, they were doomed from the beginning.
