On the other hand, I won't have internet, but then she won't be able to contact me via IM, either.  Thank God.
Aw man, I forgot about that.

The reminder made me sad today.

I have no idea what my parents think of me besides being proud I guess.  They're pretty much content that I'm doing good in life.  I don't think either can turn on a computer.

I don't know what my parents think of me, to be honest. I've maintained a bit of a distance from them since I moved out several years ago, though I still visit them at least once a month. My mom apparently wishes I'd call more... according to my stepdad, she seems to be afraid that she's loosing me as a son. I still love her dearly, but she can be really hard to deal with... and I wish she did more things with her life.

Apparently some members of my family are pretty convinced I'm gay... which is a bother for the uncomfortable implications given by my grandparents ("Oh, are you still living with that young man? Have either of you found a girlfriend yet? I met a lovely girl the other day... maybe I could set one of you up on a date with her?"), or the stupid things my younger brother says from time to time.

I see my mom at most a hour a day, and that we spend watching TV and playing on the computer.

Or rather, she watches TV and I play on the computer with the headphones on.

Yeah I have a hard time connecting with my Mom or my parents for that matter.  At least be nice or something.

Same.

I love how my father always complains, how little time we spend together.
But when we do spend time together, he complains about what a shitty son/person/student I am.
