I think they're too busy beating up little Asian girls to keep me from watching my parody TV.

You will have to send some warriors who are not busy.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I don't see any shame there. Must be hidden under those cloaks.

Somehow my '99 Ford Taurus, though it was destroyed in an accident about 8 months ago, managed to have it's insurance policy automatically renewed after I'd canceled it, and set up to quietly deduct $130.00 a month from my bank account, without providing me any notice. Much obliged.

On the plus side, I either possibly get that money back (roughly $1,000), or at least apply it as a credit toward my new car's insurance policy, if I jump through a bunch of hoops with the police and insurance company first.

@Scriver. The usual insults and dirty jokes, compounded by the fact I was on a bus.

The fact that in my maths test I lost it and gave up. Only near the last couple of questions but still... It makes me feel bad that I gave up.

I feel you, man.  On one of my finals, I wound up answering the last question:

"Let X be a metric space and S a Cauchy sequence.  Then giraffe cubic elephant, because kittens birds hammock sunshine.  QED."

That was not one of my more glorious moments.

My college actually had a required course on this, because it's a very common problem. Tests are the focal point of college stress, causing lots of issues like that. I feel ya man.
