Nah, Symbology is the study of symbols.  As far as I can tell, it's only used in place of symbolism by pseudoscientists and conspiracy theorists (I don't guarentee the goodness of those websites, don't download/ buy anything from them).

Semiotics is the linguistic study of communicative symbols, by the way.  It's a serious study, but has nothing to do with literature.

As far as plot holes go, sometimes you have to fill them, and sometimes you don't.  It's all up to the taste of the author =)  Just follow your heart.

You know, why don't we have a dedicated tech thread? I love tech, and it's a shame we don't have anywhere to discuss that. I'd make it, but I don't have the e-bawls, and most everything I start ends up dying.

I replaced my mouse. Unfortunately, when I finally got the chance to go get one it was 10 PM, so the only place open was walmart. They had a grand total of five mice to choose from, only one wired. I bought that, because it was half what I was expecting to pay, apparently one model down from the ones I had, and only lacked the side buttons and useless task switcher button near the mouse wheel. It feels flimsier, and I don't like the lack of side buttons, but it leaves me with some money left over, and I now have a mouse again.
